Things to Look out for While Buying a Liquid Filling Machine

Liquid filling machines come in a lot of varieties and sizes but you should make sure you check these important factors before you buy your own unit. Quality checks are mandatory but you need to do a lot of research. Check every product in the market before focusing on the one that is best for you and that adheres to your own stringent level of quality and efficiency.

1-      Production Capacity: Take into consideration the perceived production levels of your plant. This will help you in deciding the production capacity of the  liquid filling machine  then carry on to the next step. Search for a machine that fits your needed production capacity and then make sure you check all the other features too.

2-      Manufacturer: Brand name is important and it is the name that people check before buying. Make sure you do that too-check the manufacturer or brand name of the machine. Brand names are built on quality and for that reason only you can rely on a branded machine for your plant.

3-      Technical Necessities: Before buying a machine or even a simple  manual tablet press  make sure it adheres to all the requirements that your mechanical division asks for. The technical features must be checked, double checked and then only the machine be approved.

4-      Type of liquids used: This is one feature that almost every liquid machine buyer ignores. The type of liquid that is to be processed has a lot of importance. The liquids that are compatible with the machine’s flow and features can be used for filling. This compatibility is rarely checked which leads to poor results. The user might never know the true reason and blame the machine for the less than satisfying procedure.

5-      Technical Staff:  The staff that is employed for working or using the machine must understand it too. The staff must have a working knowledge on the specifications and technicalities of the equipment and if they don’t have the knowledge it must be taught.

6-      Spare Parts: Before buying the machine check with its spare parts supplier. This will give you an idea whether the parts are easily available or not and what are the costs. Buy the machine only if the parts are easily available and don’t cost a bomb.

7-      Space: Does your plant or the establishment where you want to install the machine has adequate space or not? This will help you in deciding on buying the machine.

8-      Technical Know-how: Does the seller or the manufacturer offer the needed technical know-how? If yes then it will help the machine operators in making complete use of the efficiency of the automation. If not then it might just be a very costly investment with no hope for returns.

The Importance of Label and the Information it contains

Bottle labellers are important piece of automation in a bottling plant of any size. It might be found at the end of the filling and bottling process but that doesn’t mean it is not a necessary part of the process. The automation levels in a bottling plant have no effect on the presence of a labelling machine and it is as important as the liquid filling machine  installed at the beginning. It is the final and most important touch in the complete process. Labels are what define the product inside the container and they also contain all the important information on the contents. Here is a good example of the importance of labels on a container- You go to a shop to buy a cold drink or a soda and find that the bottle doesn’t have a label printed on it. Will you buy that? Of course not! No one will buy a bottle that doesn’t have a label on it and this only underlines the importance of the label.
Generally the label contains the most important information regarding the contents which include-

Brand Name: The brand name which is probably the most important selling point of the bottle and its contents. It is the brand name that is marketed and it is with the brand name that people relate. The labels on a bottle or container have the brand name in the boldest print so as to catch the buyer or customer’s eyes. Rest of the information are secondary even though they are much more important.

2-      Ingredients: Ingredients of the liquid in the bottle is mentioned in visible print on the label. The ingredients as well as levels of vitamins, carbohydrates, etc are listed at a single place. This helps the customer in deciding whether he should try it or not.

3-      Expiry date of the contents of the container: The Expiry date which is the most important information on a label. It helps the buyer in deciding whether the contents are worth consuming or not.
4-      Prices or MRP: Price of the item is mentioned in the label but sometimes it might be printed on the bottle itself.

5-      Other Important information: Other important information that the label contains is the contact information of the manufacturer, phone number or email. This is provided for customers in case of any complaints, feedback, etc that they want to give to the company. This is important for keeping a healthy discussion with between buyer and seller.
